Casper announced his arrival among the elites of triathlon when won WTS Bermuda in 201 ahead of compatriots Kristian Blummenfelt and Gustav Iden. This was the first time any nation swept the podium in a men's WTS event. Casper followed that performance up with a runner-up finish in 2019 at the Tokyo Olympics Test Event. Casper missed the 2021 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship, but his performance at IRONMAN 70.3 Nice, winning in dominant fashion, demonstrated he is an athlete to watch over the middle distance.
