Skye Moench might not have a lengthy track record in Kona, but you would be foolish to overlook her on the Big Island in 2022. In 2019, Skye broke through with a win at the Ironman European Championship in Frankfurt, and followed that up with a win at Ironman 70.3 Boulder five weeks later. In 2021 at IRONMAN Chattanooga, Skye set a new American IRONMAN record, winning in 8:37:07.
We are very excited to partner with Skye as she seeks out the toughest start lists to test herself against the best athletes in the world.
What drives the deboer brand also drives me: believing we all have untapped potential which we are capable of capturing as we work to realize our dreams. This drive is reflected in deboer products. The Fjord 1.0 has absolutely no shoulder restriction so I know I will be swimming to the very best of my ability on race day.
