Dede is the living embodiment of age is just a number! Dede turned pro in 2005 after being a collegiate swimmer in the early 90's, and is a 3x IRONMAN Champion. Then in 2020, at 49 years-old Dede set a new Ultraman World Record of 22:48:41, en route to a decisive victory.
After postponement of the 2020 and 2021 Ultraman World Championship's, Dede waited patiently to take her crack at Ultraman on the Big Island. At 52 years of age she won with a new course record to boot.
