Kristian Blummenfelt wins CLASH Daytona
Kristian Blummenfelt added another title to his remarkable 2021 resume, taking the title at CLASH Daytona. Blummenfelt swam 24:48, biked 1:43:42, and ran 58:18 to finish in 3:08:30.
Blummenfelt capped off a season that saw him win the Tokyo Olympics Gold Medal, WTCS Yokohama and Edmonton enroute to the World Triathlon Championship Series Title, and win IRONMAN Cozumel in his IRONMAN debut in a World Record time of 7:21:12.
It has been an incredible season for Kristian, and we can't wait to see what 2022 has in store with 2 IRONMAN World Championship races on the schedule, as well as the Sub-7 Project.
Ben Kanute was first out of the water at CLASH Daytona in 24:35 enroute to a 6th place finish, and Laura Siddall was 5th in the women's race.
