At the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Nice in 2019, Amelia showed she is not afraid to put it all on the line and take control of a race. Amelia is an intelligent racer that is detailed in her approach, but is not afraid to take risks when appropriate. In an abbreviated 2020 race season Amelia was undefeated in Australia, taking titles at Ironman Cairns, Ironman 70.3 Sunshine Coast, and Hervey Bay 100. In 2021, Rose Watkinson has remained a podium mainstay, finishing runner-up at Ironman 70.3 Geelong, Husky Triathlon, and Hell of The West Triathlon.

We are excited to partner with Amelia as she continues to push the pace and pursue Ironman & 70.3 titles, and a spot on the podium at the World Championships.

I have big goals in the sport this year, and I have the opportunity to step it up in my approach. I am making small but crucial adjustments to be at that next level on race day. It’s perfect to be working with deboer, they have the same attention to detail, and value the full process. A good swim puts me at the front of the race and gives me more control to get on that podium. My goal is to be in the first bunch on the bike having expended as little energy as possible. deboer helps me achieve that.
