Frodeno and Ryf dominant at home Ironman 70.3 racing

Daniela Ryf makes it six in a row at Ironman 70.3 Switzerland

Daniela Ryf was first out of the water in her Flōh 1.0 wetsuit, and lead wire to wire to win her sixth title at Ironman 70.3 Switzerland.

"Felt so much energy out there from the spectators, volunteers, and athletes which helped so much to push hard and perform the best I could today. Lots of work ahead before Kona. But that is what training camp in for."

Jan Frodeno

Jan Frodeno returns to 70.3 racing with a big win at Ironman 70.3 Kraichgau

Jan Frodeno led the first pack of swimmers out of the water in his Fjord 1.0 wetsuit before putting down the fastest bike, and run en route to an emphatic win at Ironman 70.3 Kraichgau.

Jan Frodeno

This marked Jan Frodeno’s return to Ironman 70.3 racing after suffering a Sacral stress fracture following his win at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in 2018. Frodeno will now be setting his sights on the Ironman European Championship in Frankfurt on June 30 where he is the defending champion.

Ben Kanute

Ben Kanute first out of the water at The Challenge Championship

Ben Kanute lead the field out of the water at The Challenge Championship, wearing his Flōh 1.0 wetsuit, but it wasn’t the complete race he was hoping for.

"My body said no today. The first time in a while it wouldn’t do what I told it to. The first half of the day was good with a quick swim and a good start to the bike. By the turn around I was struggling and trying to limit the damage."

Kanute will not have to wait long for redemption, he is back in action this weekend at the iconic Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon where he is the two-time defending champion.
