Manuel Küng joins the deboer team

deboer wetsuits is proud to partner with Ironman 70.3 Champion, Manuel Küng. When Küng lines up on the start line you can expect to see him at the front of the swim. Growing up a talented swimmer, Küng transitioned to triathlon and has not looked back. Küng has won multiple Ironman 70.3 titles, and capped off his 2019 season with an impressive 7:54:59 at Ironman Cozumel. We are proud that Küng has chosen to swim in the Fjord 1.0 and Flōh 1.0 wetsuits, and Tsunami 1.0 speedsuit in 2020.

Manuel Küng

“When it comes to wetsuit I am really picky - it needs to be fast, flexible, and comfortable. deboer wetsuits covers all of these aspects. When I first swam in the Fjord 1.0 I was amazed by the very thin, light arms, and perfectly balanced buoyancy. I cruised around in the pool for 2km straight, nailing my desired race pace without getting tired. That’s what we are all looking for when it comes to the perfect wetsuit.”

Alex de Boer, co-founder of deboer wetsuits

“I’m very excited to have Manu join the deboer team - Manu is one of the fastest swimmers in triathlon. Manu brings a tremendous athletic pedigree and a wealth of experience to the team. As a lifelong swimmer, he can feel and identify nuances in a wetsuit, and its an honor Manu has chosen to swim in deboer.”

We are excited to partner with Manuel Küng as he continues to push the pace in the swim, and chase after Ironman and 70.3 titles.
